Inspection & Packaging Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking driven, enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail. The Inspection & Packaging Technician will be labeling and packaging products, as well as, visually inspecting our manufactured sterile drugs such as vials, syringes and cartridges.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs all assigned duties in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), following BPI Labs’ Quality Manual and Facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Performs labeling and packaging of injection products.
  • Visually inspects injections for particulates under inspection light hoods as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Reports to team leader/supervisor any issues/problems that might affect quality, etc.
  • Records all pertinent operations in logbooks and controlled documents.
  • Follows gowning and personnel hygiene practices while doing duties.
  • Cleans and maintains production equipment and environments.
  • Completes in a timely manner the training curriculum and all work-related training for the position.
  • Support formulation scientist in process/drug development.
  • Perform experimental design, proven acceptable range studies, determine critical process parameters and control them to produce consistent quality drug product.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, preferred.
  • 1 year of quality inspection experience, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP's in an FDA regulated environment.
  • Ability to work under cleanroom and aseptic conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety and compliance.
  • Able to carry weights of 20-30 lbs.
  • 20/20 corrected vision. Tested for color acuity.
